In early 2017, Yemen was hitting by the worst ever recorded Cholera epidemic in the world, pollution and accumulation of tons of organic waste in the streets unplanned waste management is a major reason for that, In the same time there was – and still now- a severe shortage of energy supply.
Trying to solve the improper waste management and lack of energy using his background as an engineer he worked in a countless hours of R&D to develop an efficient small scale biodigester to turn the organic waste into clean energy with help and guidance of professors we created an efficient and durable biogas generator that was easy to install and accessible to all.

Later, selected by UNDP among top 20 young leaders in Yemen Joining the Youth Leadership Program YLP III it was a great millstone and after few months Awarded the Top UN Environmental Award Young Champions of the Earth!
2022 Year of start-Up!
In December 2021, and after 4 years of research and development BioTreasre was born as social enterprise and started making impact in Yemen in a mission to provide millions of people with clean energy and fertilizers!

Dr. Rashid is the Former Yemeni Minister of Oil & Minerals and current head of the advisory council of the ministry, with decades of experience in the energy sector contributing significantly to the country's energy sector and international collaborations. Currently, he is the President of the Yemeni Geological Society and a consultant, as well as the founder of the Hadramout Energy and Mining Consulting Center
Dr. Rashid Baraba
Anwar is a chemical engineer with over 25 years of experience in the gas industry. He has served as Executive Director of Yemen Gas Company for more than 20 Years and served as board member of Yemen LNG Company. Currently, he is an advisor to the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, continuing to drive advancements in Yemen’s energy sector.

Eman Al-Maktari is a seasoned entrepreneur and the Co-Founder and CEO of MOSNAD Talents Marketplace. With over 18 years in the tech industry, Eman began her career as a software engineer before founding multiple startups in value-added services, digital services, and recruitment. She also brings 7 years of expertise in the development sector, specializing in employment support and fostering startup ecosystems. Balancing her professional achievements with her role as a mother of Rayan and Kenan, Eman continues to drive innovation and support in both technology and development sectors.

Chemical engineer & inventor with +5 years of research and development of the biogas technology. He led the process of product development from idea to MVP. Omer is a Social entrepreneur and environmentalist won the top UN Environmental Award Young Champions of the Earth. Omer also founder and Chairman of Solutions for Sustainable Societies.

A social entrepreneur and business development manager at BioTreagure, Khairia has extensive experience in managing developmental and social projects. She has led multiple programs aimed at supporting and empowering women in Yemen. Khairia participated in the Accelerate program to support entrepreneurs in Malaysia and the Unleash Rwanda program. She founded the Start-Up Group for Social Work and is currently pursuing her studies in business administration.

Saleh Ramadan, an innovative design specialist with high design and analysis skills, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design and Multimedia from the University of Science and Technology. He is currently working on designing the initial user experience for the innovative system, making the necessary modifications with the product development team, reflecting them and following up on them in reality.
